PHP Developer – Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: €60,000–€70,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)
Tech Stack: PHP 7/8, Symfony, MySQL, REST APIs, Docker, Git, CI/CD

A well-established product-based company is looking for a PHP Developer to join their growing engineering team in Dublin. You’ll be working on high-traffic, customer-facing systems that power real-time features across multiple domains including e-commerce, search, and content delivery.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys clean backend development, values collaboration, and wants to contribute to a long-term product roadmap in a modern PHP environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using PHP (7/8) and Symfony

• Design and implement REST APIs for core business features

• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers

• Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD practices

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning

• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure consistent delivery

Requirements:

• 3+ years of backend development experience in PHP

• Strong knowledge of Symfony or a similar PHP framework

• Experience working with MySQL and building REST APIs

• Familiarity with Docker, version control (Git), and automated testing

• Understanding of clean code principles, design patterns, and SDLC

• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Redis, RabbitMQ, or Elasticsearch

• Experience working in high-traffic, distributed environments

• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
